Description: The BLS for Heartsaver Course is for the lay rescuer who needs a credential (a card) documenting successful completion of a BLS course. The BLS for Heartsaver Course will teach you how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking. The course will provide the participant with information regarding recognizing the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and signs of breathing difficulty in children. By recognizing these signs and phoning 911 (or other emergency response number in your area), YOU may save a life. Does not offer nursing contact hours. Cost of the course is $50
