Established in 2013, the Taylor Regional Hospital Foundation provides philanthropic opportunities for raising awareness and funding to support Taylor Regional Hospital in preserving and enhancing the health of our community. Charitable giving has long been an integral part of healthcare's success. From donations of land and capital, the current hospital facility was built. Taylor Regional Hospital is the second largest employer in Campbellsville and Taylor County with over 700 employees, including PRNs. Taylor Regional Hospital provides employment opportunities for many different specialties and services.

Event: Couch to 5K

Location: TRH Education Classroom
Description: Richard Phillips, TRH Staff Development Coordinator and Pat Watson, RN, Certified Health Coach, will discuss how choosing to participate in a 5 kilometer (3.1 miles) is a fun way to target your walk to an organized outcome. Couch to 5K is designed to provide information to a person who wants to enter a 5K event. Walking and running is a healthy way for cardiac exercise, weight control, and improved lung function. Indirectly, walking and running can lead to better muscle tone, positive stress release and social interaction.
