Job Description: To follow policies, procedures, verbal orders and exercise independent judgment when necessary to fulfill the duties of the Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant.  He/She will be responsible for collecting blood from patients, processing and checking quality of specimens, responsible for the safety and comfort of patients following phlebotomy.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Certification with experience in Phlebotomy and/or Laboratory Assistant preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.  Master’s in nursing degree with emphasis in nurse practitioner.  Valid KY RN License.  Valid KY
APRN license.  Current CPR.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year experience preferred directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
