Hospital-Based Clinics

Taylor Regional Hospital-Based Clinics are committed to providing affordable, quality healthcare to all of our patients. "Hospital-based" refers to the relationship between the hospital and its clinic or department. Usually, the hospital-based clinic or department is not located in the hospital. This relationship allows the hospital and the clinic to share costs and revenue.

Effective June 1, 2021, The Taylor Regional Hospital Care Center will become a hospital-based clinic of Taylor Regional Hospital. The Care Center includes the following provider offices:

The Walk-In Clinic at Taylor Regional Hospital

Taylor Regional Internal Medicine Associates

Taylor Regional Internal Medicine (TRIM)

Billing & Insurance

This change may affect how the services you receive will be billed. At hospital-based outpatient clinics, services and expenses may be separated into two sections: hospital/facility charges and physician/professional charges.

At a hospital-based clinic, your bill may reflect charges for both the physician treating you and the hospital, and those charges will be billed to your insurance for the services provided. Depending on your insurance coverage, you may be responsible for all or a portion of these charges on each bill.

Quality Care

Taylor Regional Hospital maintains accreditation with The Joint Commission (TJC), an independent, not-for-profit organization that certifies health care organizations and programs in the United States. The hospital and its hospital-based clinics regularly undergo unannounced surveys by TJC reviewers. Meeting TJC performance standards strengthens our commitment to providing you the highest quality care and specialty services close to home.
