Scheduling Appointments
Walk-ins are welcome, however appointments are recommended to help minimize waiting time. If your condition requires immediate attention, we will make every effort to meet your needs. Please try to be on time for your appointment and let us know when you cannot keep an appointment so that others can be scheduled in your place. Upon arrival, please bring your current medications in their prescription bottles; please also be aware that you must present your insurance card and photo identification at every visit.

Occupational Health
Taylor Rural Health offers a variety of services for your occupational health needs, including pre-employment physicals, drug screens, care of minor injuries, etc. Please call us so that we can customize a program to meet your specific requirements.

Telephone Consultations
If you need to speak with a provider, please make non-emergency calls during regular office hours when your records are available. The receptionist will take some preliminary information and let you know when to expect a return call. If you need a prescription refill, please call your pharmacy; they will notify us electronically 2-3 days before you need your medication.

After Hours Emergency
We have providers on call for telephone consultation 24 hours a day. Call the office number and wait for the on-call telephone number. Should you require hospital admission, it will be arranged at the local hospital of your choice. If you have an emergency, go to the nearest emergency room or dial 911.

Confidentiality of Medical Records
Your medical records and any other medical information that you provide to us is confidential. Release of protected health information is in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Please review our Notice of Privacy Practices for details. Please be advised that requests for medical records must be in writing and are processed in the order they are received. Paying Your Bill
Payment for services is expected at the time care is received. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. A listing of our fees is available for your review. You may also be billed separately for professional services relating to your care, such as laboratory tests and pathology services (i.e., pap smears, biopsies, etc.) If you do not have proof of insurance with you at the time of your visit, it may be necessary for us to obtain payment from you for services received.
