Position: 📋 Unit Secretary- PAT 📋
Location: Surgical Services at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: Full time position- Day Shift

What You’ll Do:

◉ Compiles and maintains patient flow paperwork.
◉ Transcribes physician orders and communicates pertinate information to hospital staff regarding patient progress and needs.
◉ Participates in required education, competencies, and/or any annual training necessary.
◉ Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
◉ Follows HIPAA compliance.
◉ Verifies that all required documents are in the patient's chart.
◉ Manages completion of insurance forms, patient care forms, and all other documentation efficiently.
◉ Assist with scheduling, inventory and supplies, and provides competent clerical skills.

What We’re Looking For:

➤ High School Diploma or equivalent required
➤ Preferred 1-2+ yrs experience in healthcare offie/unit
➤ Familiarity with medical terminology and surgical scheduling preferred.
