Established in 2013, the Taylor Regional Hospital Foundation provides philanthropic opportunities for raising awareness and funding to support Taylor Regional Hospital in preserving and enhancing the health of our community. Surgical Services

A wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgeries and procedures are available at the Taylor Regional Surgical Center.

• General Surgery

• Orthopedic Surgery
• Caesarean Sections
• Gynecology
• Oral
• Pediatric Dental/Dental Rehab

In addition, we offer advanced laparoscopy procedures as well as lithotripsy, laser treatments, and endoscopy. Pre and post-operative care are provided by our highly-qualified staff on the first floor of the Surgical Center as well as preadmission testing (lab, x-rays).

The Taylor Regional Surgical Center is located behind the Emergency Room and provides parking that is easily accessible to the building.

What to Expect:
A preadmission nurse will conduct a pre-operative interview to obtain your medical history and answer any questions you may have prior to your surgery/procedure. Anesthesia services are provided by anesthesiologist and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNA's) through Taylor County Anesthesia Services.

Registered Nurse First Assists (RNFA's) assist our surgeons as well as our team of other nationally-certified registered nurses and surgical technicians.

Surgical Services works closely with both the Pathology and Radiology departments to perform treatments and obtain diagnostic results. Plans for cancer treatments are defined and resulted to assist the surgeon in carrying out treatments for the patient.

Our Level 3 Trauma Center is supported by the Surgical Services Department in treating patients; on call teams are available 24 hours/7 days a week.
