Position: 🧑‍⚕️ 🩺 Medical Assistant/ Receptionist 🧑‍⚕️ 🩺
Location: Taylor Regional Cancer Center at 125 Greenbriar Drive
Schedule: Full time position- Day Shift

What You’ll Do:

◉ Assist with exams; assuring exams and documentation occur in a HIPAA compliant setting
◉ Accurately records patient medical history and vital signs in the patient's medical record.
◉ Participates in required education, competencies, and annual training.
◉ Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
◉ Follows HIPAA compliance.
◉ Demonstrates strong skills and responds appropriately.
◉ Assist with procedures and follows all verbal and written orders from the provider.
◉ Accurately takes patient phone calls and messages to ensure they are delivered to the provider and follows up with the patient for provider instructions.
◉ Assists with scheduling, greeting patients, answering phones, can maintain responsibilities and tasks of front desk area.

What We’re Looking For:

➤ High School Diploma or equivalent
➤ Certified Medical Assistant preferred
➤ 2-3+ yrs experience in a physician office setting preferred
