Cardiopulmonary Diagnostics
Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)-
PFT measures how well your lungs work by evaluating airflow, lung volumes, and oxygen exchange. It helps diagnose and monitor conditions such as Asthma, COPD, Pulmonary Fibrosis, and other breathing disorders. The test is non-invasive and involves breathing into a specialized machine.
Holter Monitoring-
A Holter Monitor is a small portable device that continuously records your heart rhythm, typically for 24-48 hours. It helps detect irregular heart rhythms that may not appear during a standard ECG and can evaluate symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness, or fainting.
Electrocardiograms (EKGs)-
An EKG is a quick, painless test that records the electrical activity of your heart. It can help identify abnormal heart rhythms, signs of previous or current heart attack, and other heart conditions. The test usually only takes a few minutes.
Electroencephalograms (EEGs)-
An EEG records the electrical activity of the brain using small sensors on the scalp. It is commonly used to evaluate seizures, epilepsy, unexplained episodes of altered consciousness, and other neurological conditions.
