Position: 📩 ⏱ Referral Specialist ⏱ 📩
Location: Telemetry and Med/Surg at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: Full Time position- Day Shift

What You’ll Do:

◉ Process and manage outgoing patient referrals
◉ Schedule appointments with external providers
◉ Communicate with patients regarding referral status
◉ Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
◉ Follows HIPAA compliance.
◉ Educate patients on referral procedures
◉ Update electronic health records (HER) accurately
◉ Serve as a liaison between providers and specialists
◉ Coordinate with clinical staff for referral orders
◉ Follows up on pending or incomplete referrals
◉ Maintain accurate referral records in the EMR system

What We’re Looking For:

➤ High School Diploma or equivalent required
➤ 2-3+ yrs experience preferred
