Position: 🧮 🧾 Payroll and Accounts Payable Accountant 🧾 🧮
Location: Accounting Department at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: Full-time position| Mon-Fri

📋Day-to-Day Responsibilities

◉ Assist with payroll processing and serve as the primary backup for the Payroll Specialist, with the ability to independently process payroll following training.
◉ Prepare payroll tax filings, W-2 forms, labor distribution reports, and payroll summaries.
◉ Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, vendor tracking, and timely payments.
◉ Review employee reimbursements and travel expenses to ensure compliance with hospital policies.
◉ Reconcile vendor statements and coordinate with Purchasing to resolve outstanding purchase orders.
◉ Assist with monthly financial reporting, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing procedures.
◉ Support annual audits, workers' compensation audits, hospital cost reporting, and budget preparation.
◉ Perform billing and collection activities in accordance with contractual agreements.
◉ Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital procedures.

🎓Education and Experience:

➤ Associate Degree required, Bachelors preferred.
➤ No experience required, but preferred
