Position: 💵☎ Cashier/ Switchboard Operator 💵☎
Location: Switchboard at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: Part-time position with varied shifts
✱weekend rotations required✱

What You’ll Do:

◉ Operates the hospital telephone switchboard and routes incoming calls to the appropriate department, office, or individual.
◉ Provides information and assistance to patients, visitors, and callers in a courteous and professional manner.
◉ Processes payments and performs cashiering functions, including accepting cash, checks, credit cards, and other approved forms of payment.
◉ Provides receipts and maintains accurate records of all transactions.
◉ Maintains confidentiality of patient and hospital information in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
◉ Assists with paging and communication systems in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
◉ Responsible for maintaining and recording entries regarding property taxes allowances
◉ Performs other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

➤ High School Diploma or equivalent
➤ on the job training essential for PBX
