Location: On- site at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: Full time position

Position Summary:
Taylor Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Materials Management Manager to lead our supply chain operations. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our clinicians and departments have the necessary supplies, equipment, and materials available to provide high-quality patient care while maintaining cost-effective inventory levels and regulatory compliance.

If you're an organized leader with experience in purchasing, inventory management, vendor relations, and team development, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

◉ Oversee purchasing, receiving, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution operations
◉ Ensure medical, surgical, and facility supplies are available while minimizing waste and controlling costs
◉ Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and evaluate supplier performance
◉ Collaborate with department leaders to forecast supply needs and improve operational efficiency
◉ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies
◉ Analyze purchasing and inventory data to improve performance and support strategic initiatives
◉ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
◉ Manage departmental budget while identifying cost-saving opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

➤ bachelor's in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
➤ Major in supply chain management preferred.
➤ 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, purchasing, inventory control, or healthcare supply chain operations.
➤ 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.

➤ Ability to lift and move materials up to 25–50 pounds occasionally.
➤ Maintain accurate and concise documentation
➤ Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
➤ Ability to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods as needed.
