Patient Registration Clerk - Patient Registration

Position: 🖥 📋 Patient Registration Clerk 📋 🖥
Location: Emergency Department in Taylor Regional Hospital
Schedule: Part time- Evenings
Mon, Wed, Fri (3:00pm-9:30pm)
Every 5th Weekend (3:00pm-11:00pm)
Every 3rd Sunday (10:00am-6:00pm)

What You’ll Do:

◉ Obtains and enters patient information into the computer system accurately
◉ Request the appropriate identification cards (i.e. insurance cards) and paperwork required through the interview process
◉ Obtains provider orders electronically or from the patient.
◉ Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
◉ Follows HIPAA compliance.
◉ Ensures all patients have a diagnosis
◉ Manages completion of consent forms for patient financial responsibility and consent of treatment.

What We’re Looking For:

➤ High School Diploma or equivalent
➤ No experience required
➤ On the job training essential
