Physician Billing Clerk

Job Title: The primary function of this position is to be responsible for daily posting of charges and payments and filing of insurance. Responsible for billing and collections to patients and insurance companies for services performed by employed and/or contracted physicians of Taylor Regional Hospital. Performs other duties as needed in the absence of other employees in the department.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent and preferably taken courses in accounting; general business and communication.

Experience: At least 2 years experience to include working knowledge of computers, word processing, and filing systems. Knowledge of spreadsheets is also preferred. Should possess excellent organizations, oral and written communication skills. On the job training essential.

Full Time position available.
