Position: 📚 🩺 Registered Nurse Educator 📚 🩺
Location: Education Center at Taylor Regional Hospital
Schedule: Full time position-Days

What You’ll Do:

◉ Develops, evaluates, revises and maintains a current curriculum for nursing orientation that coordinates academic and technical material per policy.
◉ Demonstrates competencies in teaching ability based on current educational principles, specialization and research, while utilizing necessary equipment for instruction.
◉ Coordinates and appropriately schedules educational activities.
◉ Assists with care, stock, and maintenance of department equipment and supplies that can include nursing orientation and competency supplies.
◉ Acquires and maintains licensure and/or certification appropriate to area of specialization (i.e., BLS instructor, etc.)
◉ Follows HIPAA compliance.
◉ Supports an environment conductive to professional practice by functioning as a role model and resource person.
◉ Assesses and determines learning needs and competencies of orientees in collaboration with nursing department directors and Nursing Services Administrator.
◉ Supports an environment conductive to professional practice by functioning as a role model and resource person.
◉ Participates in any/all required education and competencies

What We’re Looking For:

➤ Associate degree required.
➤ Valid KY RN license
➤ 1-2+ years minimum experience required
➤ Sufficient previous technical teaching/training experience in educational or health care industry preferred.
➤ Must attend class of instructional/learning techniques within 1 year
