Position: 🗃 Chart Analyst 🗃
Location: Medical Records at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: Full time- Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

What You’ll Do:

◉ Retrieves and assembles various departmental patient records (Inpatient and outpatient) on a daily basis per policy/procedure
◉ performs quantitative and qualitive analysis and diagnostic records on a daily basis per HCIS policy/procedure
◉ Communicates with appropriate hospital staff in a timely manner to follow-up on any records not received within 24hrs of discharge/release from hospital.
◉ Assumes responsibility of chart tracking system with departmental standards, bylaws, rules, and regulations.
◉ Assist medical staff with interpretation of deficiency listing.
◉ Maintains open communication with necessary departments to assure data flows smoothly and effectively.
◉ Follows HIPAA compliance.
◉ Responds to medical request from other medical entities.
◉ Performs other various clerical duties.
