Position: 📋 Care Manager II (RN or LPN) 📋
Location: On Site at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: PRN position- Day shift

What You’ll Do:

◉ Performs case reviews and documents communication with caregivers of non-Medicare patients.
◉ Initiates communication of clinical data to 3rd party payers so the extent of coverage and exclusions can be determined
◉ Participates in required education, competencies, and any necessary training.
◉ Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
◉ Follows HIPAA compliance.
◉ Serves as a resource person to nursing, clinical, and support staff.
◉ Performs and/or coordinates appeals of denials for hospitalization of non-Medicare patients.
◉ Performs reviews and evaluations of observation status patients to determine orders and pat/reg statuses are consistent.
◉ Collects data and prepares reports, and other duties within the realm of care management responsibilities

What We’re Looking For:

➤ Valid KY RN or LPN license
➤ 1-2+ yrs experience preferred
