LPN Surgical Scrub

Job Summary: The OR surgical scrub assists the surgeon via scrubbing, passing of instruments, performs counts, and hand-off specimens. The surgical scrub should have knowledge of instrumentation and set-up of all cases. Performs specific intra-operative procedures, e.g., counts, preps, positions, etc. Uses professional knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide timely patient care, e.g., timely open of cases, turnover of rooms, etc. Demonstrates correct and safe techniques in use of all equipment, e.g., Bovies, lasers, ortho tables, and video equipment.

$5000 sign on bonus

Education: High school or equivalent. Graduate of Practical Nurse Program. Valid KY LPN license.

Experience: 1 year of scrubbing experience preferred.

Full time position available.
